For more than a century, the Goodhue Community Center has been a cornerstone for children, youth, and families on Staten Island. Established in 1912, Goodhue remains one of the largest green spaces on the North Shore -- 40 acres of woodlands and recreational space where young people can explore, learn, and thrive.
Families rely on Goodhue for a wide range of services and activities. The campus includes ball fields, a gymnasium, a computer lab, and an outdoor pool where thousands of Staten Island kids have learned to swim. Goodhue is also home to our beloved Goodhue Summer Camp, which draws children from across the borough for hands-on experiences that build confidence and connection -- from cookouts in the woods and gardening projects to activities that keep minds curious and bodies active.
Goodhue continues to evolve to meet the needs of the community, offering safe spaces, supportive programs, and opportunities for young people to discover their potential in a setting unlike anywhere else in New York City.
