Children’s Aid hosted its 14th annual Benefit on October 17 at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in Manhattan, celebrating its legacy of service to New York City’s youth and families. The event honored Boston Consulting Group for their continued support of the organization’s mission.
This year’s Benefit raised $1.8 million, directly funding Children’s Aid programs, which impact nearly 50,000 children and families in under-resourced neighborhoods across New York City.
"We all believe that the true measure of our society’s success is the well-being of our children—not just our own, but every child in our community," said Phoebe C. Boyer, Children’s Aid President and CEO. "That’s why I’m so proud of our partnership with Boston Consulting Group. BCG understands that strong programs require a strong foundation, and their investment in our Information Technology and Human Resources departments over the past three years has significantly strengthened our organization."
The theme of the 2024 Benefit, For the Win, celebrated the vital role that every member of the Children’s Aid community plays in achieving shared successes —from children and families to coaches, mentors, and donors.
“At Children’s Aid, we provide a wide range of services to ensure children and families thrive,” said Malia Poai, Director of Events. “From academic enrichment and healthcare access to after-school programs, each service is essential in laying the groundwork in building a brighter future for the communities we serve.”
The 2024 Benefit was sponsored at the Ambassador and Champion Level by Coleman Family Ventures and Mark Gallogly and Lise Strickler respectively; and at the Hero level by Leslie and Ashish Bhutani; Beth and Ira Leventhal; Melkus Family Foundation; Jill and Brian Olson; Lauren Razook Roth and John Roth; Amy and Charlie Scharf; and Suzanne Waltman and Martin Friedman.
The Benefit was chaired by Leslie and Ashish Bhutani; Beth and Ira Leventhal; Jill and Brian Olson; and Suzanne Waltman and Martin Friedman.
