NEW YORK, NY (July 7, 2026) — Children's Aid has appointed Georgia Boothe as Chief Program Officer, effective July 1, 2026.
Boothe, who joined Children's Aid 11 years ago as Vice President of Child Welfare and Family Services, has held a series of increasingly senior leadership roles during her tenure. Most recently, she served as Executive Vice President, overseeing Child Welfare and Family Services and Health and Wellness. Earlier this year, she also assumed leadership of the Youth Division, Early Childhood, the National Center for Community Schools, and Children's Aid College Prep Charter School.
As Chief Program Officer, Boothe will oversee all of Children's Aid's programmatic operations, bringing together the organization's broad portfolio of services under a unified leadership structure. The role will strengthen collaboration across programs and further Children's Aid's integrated approach to supporting children, youth, and families.
"Georgia has been an exceptional leader throughout her time at Children's Aid," said Phoebe C. Boyer, President & CEO of Children's Aid. "She brings a relentless focus on quality, collaboration, and outcomes, along with a deep commitment to our mission. Her strategic leadership and ability to bring people together make her the ideal person to lead our programmatic work, and I am excited for what this next chapter means for the children, families, and communities we serve."
Throughout her career at Children's Aid, Boothe has helped advance cross-divisional collaboration while maintaining a steadfast commitment to delivering high-quality services and measurable results. In her new role, she will continue to guide the organization's efforts to provide integrated, comprehensive supports that help children and families thrive.
