On Monday, May 4, 2026, Children’s Aid welcomed supporters to the 27th Annual Golf Classic at Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, New Jersey. Set against one of the country’s most renowned courses, the day brought together a dedicated community united by a shared purpose: expanding opportunity for children and families across New York City.
From pre-tournament activities through the evening’s reception, the day was defined by connection, generosity, and a deep belief in Children’s Aid’s mission. Corporate partners, philanthropic leaders, and longtime friends came together not only for a memorable day on the course, but to invest in a future where every young person has the support they need to succeed and thrive.
This year, 116 golfers teed off on Baltusrol’s championship Lower Course, raising more than $470,000 in support of Children’s Aid’s comprehensive programs. Every contribution helps expand access to excellent education, high-quality healthcare, and critical services for the nearly 50,000 children and families we serve each year.
As the event moved from the course to the clubhouse, guests gathered for a cocktail reception that underscored the impact of their support. Children’s Aid President and CEO Phoebe Boyer shared reflections on the urgency and reach of our work, and the essential role this community plays in sustaining it.
Returning as emcee and auctioneer, NBC 4 New York lead sports anchor Bruce Beck brought warmth and energy to the evening, while inspiring continued generosity.
One of the evening’s most moving moments came from Youth Speaker and Children’s Aid scholarship recipient Isobell Addo, a junior at Hunter College pursuing a double major in Nursing and Chinese. In a deeply personal reflection, Isobell shared how Children’s Aid helped shape her journey by providing access to opportunity, guidance, and unwavering support.
