If you are a parent or guardian, you may qualify to receive $6,000 or more through the Child Tax Credit if you have children under 18.

- Go to Code for America’s Get Your Refund website
Additional Assistance: Families might also be eligible for up to 12 months of past rent and utilities payments thanks to New York’s Emergency Rental Assistance Program. For free help with applications, contact one of the Enroller Organizations for your Borough. There are no immigration status requirements to qualify for the program.
