Children's Aid Salutes Judge Judith Kaye's Legacy

All of us at The Children’s Aid Society are saddened to hear of the passing of Judge Judith Kaye,” said Phoebe C. Boyer, the organization’s president and CEO. “Throughout her illustrious career, Judge Kaye was a fierce advocate for children and young people, especially those growing up in the most challenging circumstances. Most recently, we were honored to have her on the side of the Fostering Youth Success Alliance, standing up for youth in and aging out of foster care who could benefit dramatically with greater access to college. Her leadership will be greatly missed.”

The Children’s Aid Society is an independent, nonprofit organization established to serve the children of New York City.  Our mission is to help children in poverty to succeed and thrive. We do this by providing comprehensive supports to children and their families in targeted high-needs New York City neighborhoods. Founded in 1853, it is one of the nation’s largest and most innovative non-sectarian agencies, serving New York’s neediest children. Services are provided in community schools, neighborhood centers, health clinics, and camps.
